all fine, but noisy hotel

The location was fantastic, just a short walk from Atocha station and close to Retiro Park. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and we enjoyed the cleanliness of the facilities. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable.

We had a comfortable stay for three nights in a spacious double room. The location made exploring Madrid easy! The friendly staff helped us with local dining options, and we appreciated having parking available. For budget travelers, this hotel is an excellent choice. Don’t miss the local tapas nearby!

Proximity to Atocha station makes it easy to catch a train or explore nearby attractions. The breakfast spread is diverse, offering everything from fresh juice to tasty local options that give a nice start to the day.

The walk to the station is a bit longer than expected due to ongoing road work, which can be annoying especially if you're in a hurry. Wi-Fi connectivity is spotty, making it a hassle to get any work done in your room. The decor feels dated, and while some might find charm in that, I thought it brought down the overall vibe. The shower's temperature control left much to be desired, fluctuating between hot and cold without warning. Also, I found the lack of kettle and coffee facilities in the room rather disappointing, especially for those late-night cravings.

The location was great for getting to my business meetings. The staff offered guidance on local cultural spots and made my stay convenient. I had to use the laundry service for ironing since there were no irons in the hotel, which felt unnecessary.
